DC Scores: One Night One Goal

On October 17th, DC SCORES held their annual Fundraiser, One Night One Goal, at Audi Field. As a photographer, I had the honor of documenting the evening alongside my friend and colleague Cody. Working with DC SCORES is always a pleasure, and it’s always great to work with Cody as well. It was a historic night for DC SCORES, having raised $500,000 in one night. It was a pleasure to be able to capture the night of celebration, poetry, and support. For me, the evening marked a personal milestone I hadn’t expected.
For the very first time in my career, my work as a filmmaker was showcased on a Jumbotron. That doesn’t sound like much, but for me it’s pretty major. I have always aspired to see my work in large format. On the side of a building, viewed in a theater, or seen in a stadium. Not how I expected it to happen, but I think I’m reinvigorated to shoot something specifically for large format.
The desire to push my limits and expand my horizons as a filmmaker is pretty prominent for me right now. If you ever wanted to work with an overly inspired creative, now might be the time to tap in!
